I’m a college student with VERY meager funds, but as St. Patrick’s is coming up and I’d like to do something fun with my friends, do you have any cheap-to-make Irish recipes? I’d be feeding around 6, and it could be something dessert-y if that would be easier.
Bread pudding, maybe? Is that Irish-y? I’m not 21, so anything involving alcohol is out /:

Apple Pie "Dublin Style"
Ingredients:
1 9-inch pie shell
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups sliced apples (1 pound 4 oz. each)
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup cornstarch
2 tablespoons butter
Directions:
Preheat oven 425° F.
Combine undrained apples and all other ingredients except butter. Mix lightly.
Spoon ingredients into pastry shell. Dot with butter.
Bake for 40-50 minutes until crust is golden brown.
This Irish dessert recipe is delicious served cold, but even better warm, with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top.
This Irish dessert recipe was contributed by Colin Bakewell.

vanilla pudding + green food coloring = semi-questionable yet tasty desert. smear on nilla wafers or just lop it up like a doggie.
go easy when you use food coloring, it doesn’t take but a few drops tops.
get a 21 year old to buy you some booze, and put food coloring in it. : )
