  • im a student teacher i need ideas for st patricks day activities?

    Feb 23rd

i need an outline of a clover for them to color but if u could find a creative one tht would be kool also can u think of any activities thank you

You can just use Google to find a nice clover outline.

You can print out rainbow colored clovers or color them yourself and hide them around the classroom. Then, have the students go look for them, with candy or a treat as an incentive! πŸ˜€ Kind of like an Easter egg hunt.

Good luck and have fun! πŸ™‚

theres a game there that doesnt exactly have st patricks day coloring pages but the first day of spring is… wow next week!the 20… and easters not too far behind.. so you could pick out the egg game and have them get on computers and create their own designs on it… and later print them out and color them =]

if your still on st patricks day coloring pages i found a nice site with easy coloring pages:

    4. What a prefect opportunity to teach your students something about the real meaning of the day.

Don’t do the clover and that other none sense do something meaningful

      1) Talk about how St Patrick brought Christianity to Ireland and what that meant historically

      2) Have the students eat mashed potatoes and buttermilk it is what the poor Irish ate day in and day out for years while the British stole their wealth

      3) Talk about the famine and about those even today who need to go to soup kitchens

      4) Read an Irish fairy Tale (Osin in Tir Na Nog is great)

      5) List all the famous Irish-American and talk about what they did for this nation
