  • What would be needed for a St. Patricks day party for kids around the age of 13.?

    Feb 19th

I want to know what I would need for a St. Patricks day party with kids around 13 years old. Also activities and maybe snacks ect.

Pick up bags of gold chocolate coins as favours, or just to scatter around. Have kids tie-dye t-shirts. Let them bake & decorate butter cookies in theme shapes. Send them on a scavenger hunt for elven boots/fairy wings, etc. that you’ve hidden (try the miniature crafts section at Michael’s or A.C. Moore). Compile a list of facts about elves etc., another one about Ireland and a Gaelic pronunciation sheet. Snacks: Irish potato candy, scones with toppings (strawberry jam, clotted cream, butter), Irish soda bread, chicken pot pies, lamb stew. Apple cider would be a great quaff. Have fun!

    1. Check out the dollar spot at Target they have allot of things with the St. Patrick Day theme including leprechaun hats, games, and decorations.

    2. A really cool hunt to find the treasure at the end of the rainbow. (13 may be too old, but if the kids are up for it, it’s always fun.)

Lucky Charms and green milkshakes as snacks.

Also, everyone has to talk in Irish accents during the party. Other than that, they can just hang out and listen to some music just like every other party.

    3. Get a bunch of green decorations. Have all the food an punch done in green. get you some green food coloring. Maybe get some fake pots of gold with the gold candy coins. Have some fun irish music playin. Have some green beads for everyone to wear. For a game maybe bob for green apples in green water?
