I go to Castle Dome Middle School and we are having a dance on March 17, 2010. I’m in a club called Castle Dome Heroes and we are thinking about having a booth at the ST. Patrick’s day dance this month. We’re not sure on what we should sell or what activity we should have. I need help!

I am looking for ideas for a Potluck for St Patricks Day. Food should be green or irish.
People are already bringing brocolli salad, spinach dip, spinach salad.

I make Irish Soda Bread every year for my family when we get together. Very simple to make and you can make as many loafs as you like…
Ingredients
2 cups white flour
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. butter, chilled
1 cup raisins
1 1/2 cups buttermilk or plain yogurt

Instructions
Heat the oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients.

Cut in the butter until it is pea-sized. Stir in the raisins and buttermilk or yogurt. Turn the dough onto a floured surface, knead 1 minute, and shape into a disk.

Cut an "X" in the top and bake on a greased baking sheet for 45 to 50 minutes. Makes one 8-inch-wide loaf

its my birthday on 17th march (st Patrick’s day) so i have decided since we have had a rough year already i would design and make my own birthday cake as a wee treat…. because my birthday is on st Patrick’s day i always do something with that theme and this year i am thinking about making a st Patrick’s day birthday cake… i have found some sample ideas and would love either picture ideas from others or your comments and views on these cakes, the ones that are ow st Patrick’s day themed i am going to edit into Green and white colour scheme and add some st Patrick’s day items such as shamrocks etc….
