  • st. patty’s day!!!?

    Jan 20th

what are some cool things i could do on st. patricks day with my dad and my brother. outside activities. i live in a 4 season climate zone so itll be nice out. if it helps im a 13 year old boy.

Check if there are any parades ! God I ENVY you, normally I celebrate it with my cousins (we are mad Irish you see lol) but this year I’ll be spending it working in a care home for people with dementia…. =(

No sneaky pints of Guinness for me then!

But yeah parades are always fun, just spend time with your family and be proud of where you’re from!!

    1. Can’t really do the green beer thing- soon enough. Wear some green, act like a nut, see a parade if your town does it, eat some corned beef and cabage (open the windows if you know what I mean)- be proud of your heritage dude

    3. Check the local news papers and for info regarding parades,
Irish Bands, Irish step dancers giving demonstrations or performances, Pipe Band performances, etc. You may also want to check if any of the local Irish-American groups are putting on activities open to the public. Also check the local Irish Pubs. Many are full service restaurants as well as bars, and (at least in the Denver area) will have musical entertainment, Step Dancers, and Pipe Bands that are family oriented.
